Ingredients
– challah
– eggs
– milk
– vanilla extract
– butter
– brown sugar
– powdered sugar
– cinnamon
– clove
– nutmeg
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Lightly boil butter and brown sugar in a saucepan on the stove until dark brown.
Cut challah loaf into cubes.
Cover the bottom of your cooking pan with the butter and brown sugar sauce and layer the challah cubes over the sauce.
Mix eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg in a bowl and pour it over the challah cubes. Sprinkle cinnamon over the top.
Put the dish in the oven for 40 minutes.
Safely remove the dish from the oven. Sprinkle your powdered sugar over the top and serve warm.
