We ate a lot of f*ckin’ instant-labeled sh*t as children. It was convenient, filling, and a 2-year-old could make it. Quaker Instant Oatmeal’s Maple and Brown Sugar, Apple and Cinnamon, and Peaches and Cream were the go-to flavors. And despite 24% added sugar, we are guilty of adding the missing 76%, plus a splash of whole milk and a big a*s spoonful of Country Crock butter. But it was one of the nourishment tools our parents had at the time.
Fast-forward to unexplainable aches and pains post-childhood. “Welcome to adulthood!” That’s bullsh*t. As adults, we should still be able to enjoy our physical bodies. Our Original Golden Oats recipe is a household favorite. It reminds us of childhood but has long-term health benefits to sustain our muscle and bone health into adulthood. Made with immune-boosting adaptogens and nutrient-rich toppings, The OG Oats Bowl has the sweet and salty vibe we crave from ma’s pantry. May the 10,000 tastebuds twerk in your mouth.
