It’s officially the first day of Fall and I honestly couldn’t be happier. This season just oozes self-care, rest, and peace to me. Except I definitely could use way more rest, but duty calls. And, this time, it’s in NYC. I am preparing to speak at the WWD Beauty & Wellness Forum on September 26th and it is my first IRL panel.
I started speaking on Beauty panels during the pandemic, but everything was on Zoom. I have to admit, I am a bit nervous about not having my security blanket (being in my home) for this speaking engagement. So, in preparation, I’ve been working on looking and feeling my best. Like doing the most with my self-care. The less I have to worry about, the better. I don’t know about you, but when I am happy with my appearance, I speak more confidently.
Making sure I spend extra time on my skincare has been imperative, so that I feel my best when I hit the stage has been imperative.

Okay, so it says spot treatment, but I’ve been using this all over for over a decade. It really helps keep breakouts at bay and minimizes my oiliness.

I’m convinced this one serum is single-handedly tightening or shrinking my pores. Not quite sure which, but them thangs smaller fa sho!

I mist this tingly skin elixir on skin after any serums/treatments, prior to any moisturizer or glaze. I find that misting before applying my final steps allows my oils and moisturizers to absorb so much better.
